Belonging

Belonging

Some people feel at home the minute they walk into church. A wonderful feeling, but by no means everyone’s experience. For many of us, feeling at home is a slower process – needing time to get a feel for the different ways we worship, time to decide what resonates with us, time to talk with different people, time to make connections, to become familiar with the rhythms of church life.

You can begin with…

Coffee after church can be a start. Or a Lent course, or an activity. But when the time feels right to you, a great way to get to know people is to join one of the groups of volunteers who help run the church. Who sing, clean, play instruments, make coffee, read lessons, do websites, help at the food pantry, plan fundraisers…

Or dive in – the waters are warm!

So here you’ll find just some of the ways you can get involved. Whatever your passion, there are opportunities for us all – and each one is a way to express our thanks to God.

(Some of these headings lead to further detail, but we are just starting the process. Please phone the Parish Office with any questions, and do please check the week’s newsletter
